The soccer team wrapped up its season in the SEC Tournament and, speaking of the SEC, the diving team grabbed a pair of conference accolades. The soccer team’s 2021 campaign came to a close on Tuesday night when the No. 12 Tennessee Volunteers defeated it in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament, 5-2. Head coach Tony Amato finishes his debut season with a disappointing 4-12-4 record overall along with a 3-6-1 mark in conference play.

The diving teams both had one of its student-athletes picked for this week’s SEC Diver of the Week honors, with senior Elizabeth Perez representing the No. 3 women and junior Leo Garcia claiming the honor for the No. 12 men. The squads head to Tallahassee on Friday to face the Florida State Seminoles in a dual meet.
